Shannon at Another Hungry Vegan is changing the way people think about vegan. She has created some wonderful recipes that she calls “transition foods” that will make any foodie hungry for more. You should go check out her blog for more great recipes that you can try for yourself. There are so many recipes that you will have a difficult time choosing which ones to choose first.

Shannon shares this recipe for a Vegan Caramel Frappuccino with us, it is a pretty great place to start.

Vegan Caramel Frappuccino
1 cup Espresso Chameleon Cold Brew (or your favorite iced coffee)
3-4 Espresso flavored Cocomels (vegan caramels)
1 tsp Mesquite powder
1 pack Livwell Vanilla Bean (or other plant-based vanilla protein)
1 frozen banana
Handful of ice sweetener to taste
Place all ingredients into the blender, except the vegan caramels, and blend until well-mixed. Add extra ice if you like it extra frosty. Place the caramels on the stove over medium heat and mix until they become soft and liquefied. Use half of this caramel sauce to drizzle on the inside of a large glass. Then pour in the Frappuccino you just made, and top it off with the remaining caramel sauce.
Sip through a green Simply Straw (for the ultimate coffee shop feel) and enjoy!
