Cleaning/Maintenance

Glass Straw Cleaning

Your glass straw is dishwasher safe.  We recommend after every use to rinse with clean water and either place in an upright container (utensil holder) or place in your antibacterial hemp sleeve for protection. When necessary use your Simply Straws cleaning brush for a spotless straw.

Mason Jar Cleaning

Your mason jar is dishwasher safe or you may choose to use warm soapy water with a sponge. If you have hard to remove green smoothies residue or it has a brownish tint that doesn't scrub off, isopropyl alcohol or white vinegar with salt mixture is one of the best glass cleaners for non-optical glass.

Pour in a small amount alcohol/vinegar, add some salt, swish it around some. Then wipe with a rag or sponge. Scrub with a small brush if needed. Finally, clean as you normally would to remove the salt. Works great to remove any film that detergents or glass cleaners leave behind.

Mason Jar Lids

Your mason jar lid is dishwasher safe or you may choose to use warm soapy water with a sponge. First be sure to remove the inside silicone rim ring to be sure you remove all food particles, the silicone straw grommet can be left in place in the straw hole.

Be sure to dry thoroughly to prevent water spots on the lid and staining on the silicone.
