The co-owners from Simply Straws grew up in Newport Beach (mostly) and want to protect the ocean. Chanelle Sladics is an avid surfer and knows the importance of a clean beach and ocean, which is why she is so passionate about other companies that have the same mindset. We have done work in the past with Surfrider Foundation so here is more about them.
About Surfrider Foundation:
The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.
They are fighting plastic pollution by reducing the impact of plastics in the marine environments. They defend our oceans from any threats tot he vitality of the ecosystem. Surfrider Foundation also takes on issues that may threaten the beach and natural shorelines as well as aim to protect the health and sustainability of our planet's resources.
