Many cities all over the world are saying no to plastic bags -- in fact, some have even banned the bag all together. Hooray! Here's a handy list courtesy of Surfrider Foundation on who's taken action so far. Now, we're hoping you're using your reusable when out and about, but, if per chance your friend is just getting on-board with the plastic bag ban, we thought you might be interested in this Plarn 101 tutorial. Plarn is simply put, plastic yarn. Using basic crochet technique, you can make amazing things with this repurposed material.
