Machines Italia has just announced the second annual Plastic Technologies Award Design Competition. Figure out a way to reduce the use of convenience packaging or replace products that are just needed once or twice and then get thrown away. Once you do that, submit your entry. You can contribute to a cleaner planet and win the design contest.
Examples of excess packaging are the blister packages that product are put in to help prevent theft. The packaging to make it easier to display the products in retail stores, too. Can you think of a better way to help stores display products securely and easily without the use of blister packaging?
