It’s Fall! And that means…pumpkin spice lattes!

The first signs of fall in the air seem to bring on the pumpkin cravings. The latest craving craze is the pumpkin latte. Pumpkin lattes are not difficult to make and for just a few dollars you can make enough for the whole house. For our pumpkin latte, we started with some Soy milk and used Stevia for the sweetener. You can use your choice of milk, sweetener, and organic ingredients and come up with just as wonderful a cup of pumpkin latte as we did. Here’s our basic recipe:             2 cups milk

2 Tablespoons pureed pumpkin

1 ½ Tablespoons sweetener

1 ½ teaspoons vanilla

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice ½ cup strong coffee or espresso

Pour one cup of milk, pumpkin, sweetener, and spice into a saucepan. Heat on medium while stirring continually until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat and pour into a blender. Add remaining cup of milk and vanilla and blend until frothy. Pour it into two A-Mason Mugs, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with spice and enjoy with your favorite person.
