Sip Sunday // Powerhouse Pumpkin Smoothie

The weather is getting cooler and it’s time to look for some smoothies with an extra punch of nutrition in addition to flavor. Joy Manning has created this delish recipe of the season perfect pumpkin and a kick of avocado.


Powerhouse Pumpkin

½ c canned pure pumpkin, frozen in ice cube tray
7 oz (about 1 c) 2% plain Greek yogurt
½ c water
¼ ripe avocado
2 Tbsp ground flaxseed
1 Tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender and puree until smooth.
